ER2188 General Purpose Epoxy Potting Compound is a two-part epoxy resin designed for general use in the electronics industry. It offers a cost-effective solution for a wide range of applications requiring protection. ER2188 is flame retardant with good thermal conductivity while maintaining excellent chemical and water resistance.
The system uses a hardener free of 4,4′-Diaminodiphenylmethane (DDM) or other aromatic amines. The flame-retardant technology is of a ‘clean’ type, resulting in relatively low toxicity fumes and minimal smoke emissions.
It exhibits excellent electrical properties and good adhesion to a wide range of substrates, making it suitable for various electronic applications.
