ALPHA NR205 has been specifically formulated to resist degradation in surface insulation resistance and electromigration, even when the flux is not exposed to soldering temperatures or is applied in heavy amounts. Its residues are non-corrosive and do not cause “greening” when in contact with copper or copper-bearing alloys. This makes ALPHA NR205 particularly well-suited for touch-up and rework applications, especially when supplied in a flux pen. ALPHA “WriteFlux” pens enable easy, controlled local flux application.
