ALPHA® Exactalloy® Industrial Solder Preforms
Provides a precise fit, controlled solder volume, consistent flux levels, and a wide alloy range for industrial applications.
Contact UsProduct Overview
ALPHA industrial solder preforms come in various shapes, sizes, and alloys to suit diverse assembly needs. They are available with or without integrated flux to address assembly challenges. These preforms are designed to fit over or be inserted into difficult to solder processes such as connector pins and cable termination interconnects.
Industrial solder preforms are offered in a wide range of alloys, with melting temperatures spanning from as low as 47°C (117°F) to over 300°C (572°F). They can be supplied in tape-and-reel or bulk packaging. Bulk preforms can be processed manually, with a jig or fixture, or through automated feeder systems.
Industrial solder preforms are fully compatible with standard soldering processes, including resistance, induction, laser, soldering iron, hot plates, torches, and heat guns.

Industrial Preforms Enable Automation in Assembly Processes
Industrial solder preforms enable automation for high-throughput soldering processes. Bowl feeders are commonly used to deliver bulk-packaged preforms to the work area, where any soldering method can be applied. The option to use high-speed soldering processes, such as induction, resistance, and laser soldering, offers significant cost savings and benefits for high-volume applications.
This approach not only increases throughput compared to automated wire soldering machines and manual labor but also ensures consistency and quality across your product line.
Industrial Preforms for a Wide Range of End-Use Applications
Available in a wide range of alloys, sizes, and shapes, industrial preforms offer innovative solutions and a lower total cost of ownership.
