UR5118 is a highly water-resistant, RF polyurethane resin developed as an ultra-high-performance encapsulation and potting compound, offering a high level of protection in various operating environments while delivering excellent electrical properties.
With high toughness, it provides protection from physical shock and vibration and is resistant to tearing.
Its outstanding resistance to seawater makes it ideal for marine electronic devices. Additionally, its low water absorption allows for potential use both above and below the surface. Specialized fillers maintain a low dielectric constant, making it perfect for sensors.
UR5118 is an excellent choice for applications subject to Radio Frequency (RF) transmissions, such as sensors in marine, automotive, or aerospace applications.
