Electrolube^® UR5044 Soft / Digoutable, Flame Retardant Polyurethane Resin

UR5044 Flame Retardant Polyurethane Resin is a UL94-approved two-part system developed for potting and encapsulation of electronics. Once cured, it has a dark blue finish and is soft enough to be dug out if rework or repair is required.

Its flexibility and dig-out characteristics make it an ideal compound for use in prototype electronics or potted units that may need rework or repair during their lifecycle. The excellent flexibility is maintained even at temperature extremes as low as -70°C and up to 120°C, making it ideal for applications that experience temperature cycling. The combination of softness, flexibility, and temperature range makes it a strong alternative to silicone resin systems.

UR5044 also has excellent resistance to water, making it a great choice for marine or outdoor applications. Additionally, it offers good thermal conductivity, making it suitable for devices requiring thermal management.
