SC4003 is a thixotropic two-part silicone potting and encapsulating resin designed for the Indian market. Primarily developed for the protection of Light-Emitted Diode (LED) drivers, its properties also make it suitable for a wide range of applications. It offers excellent high-temperature performance, making it ideal for use in applications where the operating temperature may reach up to 200°C. Its flexibility also allows it to withstand temperature cycling. The thixotropic nature and good flow characteristics make SC4003 an excellent choice for extremely tight spaces or difficult geometries.
SC4003 is also available in a fast-cure variation, SC4003FD.
